CAUX, Village en circulade: A circulade is a village of Gard, Hérault or Aude which is built in a circle around a church or a castle. The "invention" of the name and thing is due to the architect and urban planner Krzysztof Pawlowski in 1992. The name used by the geographers is that of a round village. Agglomerations of this type are mediatized for tourism and economic purposes by the Association of Circular Villages of Languedoc.
